Esaote aims to deliver precise and reliable diagnosis to meet any clinical need. Integrated solutions for data and image management ensure safe and streamlined workflow.
The primary application of ultrasound in emergency medicine is the evaluation of patients presenting with blunt abdominal trauma. The aim of the scan is to determine whether or not there is free fluid in the patient. Ultrasound technology can support the user, both in and out of the hospital, during patient examinations by providing detailed information of the target area simply and quickly.
The occurrence of free fluid can be due to trauma, infection, severe liver disease, etc. which is why it is important to have tools that enable the user to perform a good assessment of the patient’s physical condition.
